The premiere episode of the second season of the most mysterious show has captivated the audience with tangled clues and exciting performances. New host, new panelists, and 14 celebrity contestants dressed up in head-to-toe costumes will entertain and discuss mysteries each Saturday evening this fall.
Тhe history-making costumes of Season 2 feature Bride, Baba Yaga, Brain, Clown, Snake, the Golden, Eyes, Book, Dark Angel, Baby, Scarecrow, Light, Panthera, and a Macaron. In the first episode, all the mystery contestants impressed the audience with elaborate outfits and vivid presence on the stage which has arisen thousands of questions for the judging panel.
This year 'The Masked Singer Bulgaria' surprised the viewers with a new host – the beloved actor Gerasim Georgiev-Gero. The master of comedy was part of the last year’s panel, but now he partners with the master of entertainment, known as one of the hosts from the first season - Vasil Vasilev-Zueka.
Another surprise for the fans of the hit show this season is the new celebrity panelists that will trace and interpret with humor and artistic sense every detail of the performances in the competition. Alex Raeva, AZIS, and Vlado Penev will take three of the four places in the special panel and a guest-star will be joining them each episode to unravel who are the personalities behind the masks.
Last, but not least in the surprise list is that the favorite masks from the first season are back! Each Saturday evening, starting from the second episode, one of the already known masks from the previous season is about to perform on the stage, but with a new mystery celebrity behind it.
The first live episode had marked a successful start for the second season according to the data of Garb Audience Measurement. More than 1.8 million Bulgarian viewers and 30.8% in the target group aged (18-49) have chosen the spend the Saturday evening with the mysterious clues and original performances of each of the fourteen masks. No one dropped out of the competition this time, but we look forward to seeing who will be the first celebrity to be unmasked in the next second episode.
