The celebratory edition of Lords of the Air is the preferred choice for New Year's Eve, gathering twice as bigger audience than the direct television competitor in the same time interval, according to the data, provided by the Independent Media Audience Measurement Agency – Nielsen Admosphere Bulgaria.
In the prime-time from 19:58 to 22:08 hrs, on the very last day of the year, more than one million viewers have chosen the show that has no analogue and moreover, in the peak moments the spectators' number reached nearly 1 200 000 people.
During the two-hour show the viewers had the opportunity to recall the funniest moments from the show for the past year. Festive greetings were sent even from national and international leaders from the all over the world, and the cherry on top was the performance of Bulgaria's premiere – Boiko Borisov, who played his new song on a guitar. A surprise for the audience was the special compilation of auto-bloopers from the Lords themselves, which genuinely succeed to make the anchors laugh.
The show scores a leading position amongst all target groups, as it is a preferred choice in the active audience in the age group of 18- 49 years, with an average share of 41.2 % with peaks reaching 46.8% share, in comparison to 17.5 % average share for the direct competitor at the same time. Moreover, amongst the young and the most difficult to be reached audience between 18 – 34 years - an average share of 41.8 %.
The success of the show Lords of the Air on NOVA in the New Year's Eve is another proof that the production is the preferred choice for entertainment for the whole family daily as well as for holidays.
