Global Films is the producer of the new Bulgarian TV series "Suburban Cops". The first police comedy in Bulgaria is to start in January 2018 on NOVA TV and it promises lots of fun for the entire family.
“Suburban cops” will gather some of the most popular and talented Bulgarian comedy actors at one place. Amongst them are: Gerasim Georgiev – Gero, Stefania Koleva, Rumen Ugrinski, Militsa Gladnishka as well as the special appearance of the emblematic stars - Vasil Vasilev - Zueka and Dimitar Rachkov. Along with the already established faces, we will see new promising talents such as Christiyan Milatinov.
“This is a funny police story, very familiar to our everyday life, which will gather different generations in front of the screen. It is a topic we all joke about every day, there are just so many jokes about the police and we just love police comedies. The series depicts everything that happens to us on a daily basis – distress at work, ridiculous situations, friendship, love, all narrated in an entertaining way. It is a pleasure for me to work with these actors and this team, whom I trust fully. I believe that this whole thing will come out great” – shares with us the producer Magarditch Halvadjian.
"Suburban cops" is a creative adaptation of the hit Spanish series "Los hombres de Paco". The plot will take the audience to the everyday life and work of a group of cops, who actually create much more problems instead of coming up with any relevant solutions. Moreover they dedicate most of their time to cover any mishaps instead of accomplishing peaceful coexistence in the neighborhood, which is their primary task.
