After more than a decade of absence and twenty years after its premiere, one of the most entertaining and popular shows – the candid camera "Sweet Revenge" returns on TV. The reality show airs on NOVA from Thursday, March 5th at 10:00 pm with an impressive list of celebrity "victims" who will be confronted with unusual situations without even suspecting that there are tangled storylines behind them.
The show is emblematic for us at Global Group because it is the first production of the company that has been aired on national TV in 2000. It was developed from the idea of producer Magarditch Halvadjian and head writer Vladi Aprilov. Vladi has been the author and host of three out of five seasons, which had been aired from 2000 to 2005 on bTV with a total of 204 completed episodes.
"Sweet Revenge" became a total hit at the time when it was very trendy to produce candid cameras. Back then we did together 3 seasons and 130 episodes. The idea to relaunch it now was of Magy Halvadjian and I just couldn’t say no to that! This is still the most successful candid camera ever made in our country", says Vladi Aprilov, who will once again be the host of the show and head writer of the new episodes. Ivan Angelov and Boris Borisov are also writers of the unexpected funny stories that will entertain the viewers of NOVA this spring.
More than 30% of active viewers have watched the first episode of the new season of "Sweet Revenge", which is 67% more than the result of the second most-watched television in the same time slot.
